FOCUS ON....Pacific
Northwest & New Zealand
 In
past semesters this series has focused on well-established wine growing
regions. This class will feature
the wines of Oregon and Washington in the first session and New Zealand in
the second. These are relatively new, but making breakthrough wines that
are setting new standards. Each of the regions has specialized in only
a few grape varieties, which are challenging the centuries older places of
origin. We will discuss the development of the regions and taste their
wines. Because of the quality of the wines, the class will be limited to
14. Participants must be 21.
